The Full Reset Your Spa Actually Needs
Hot Tub Drain, Clean & Refill Service — Built for Hard Utah Water
A garden hose and a quick wipe-down is not a drain and clean. Our deep-clean protocol purges the bio-film hiding in your plumbing, dissolves the mineral scale that hard Utah water bakes onto your shell and heater, and returns your spa to genuinely fresh, fast-heated, perfectly balanced water.

Bio-Film Line Purge
Before a single gallon drains, we circulate a professional-grade bio-film remover through every jet line and manifold. The bacterial film coating your plumbing — the hidden cause of stubborn cloudy water and runaway sanitizer demand — breaks loose and exits with the old water.
Full Drain & Footwell Extraction
Complete drain including the footwell water a gravity drain leaves behind, where sediment and mineral solids concentrate.
Deep Shell Purge & Scale Treatment
Hand-detail of the entire shell, jet faces, pillows, and waterline with a mineral scale treatment formulated for hard Utah water — dissolving the calcium crust that builds in Heber Valley and Utah County spas without scratching acrylic.
Filter Spray-Down or Replacement
We pull your cartridges and thoroughly spray them clean, deep into every pleat — not a quick garden-hose rinse. If a filter has reached end-of-life, we replace it for you, so your fresh water isn't filtered through old contamination.
Fresh Refill & Rapid Heat Balancing
We refill, then dial in a complete startup chemistry profile matched to your local fill water's hardness and alkalinity. Rapid heat balancing means the spa climbs to temperature with chemistry already locked — soak-ready the same evening in most cases.
Why Utah Spas Need This More Than Most
Fill water across our service area — Heber City, Midway, Orem, Provo, and much of Park City — carries some of the highest calcium hardness in the country. Midway sits on literally mineral-rich geothermal aquifers. That calcium plates onto heater elements (cutting heater life in half), crusts the waterline white, and makes water balance drift constantly. A quarterly drain and deep clean with scale treatment is the single highest-value service a Utah hot tub owner can buy.
Protect the Heater
Scale on the element forces it to run hotter and fail sooner. Removal extends heater life by years.
Stop Chronic Cloudiness
If your water clouds days after shocking, the cause is usually bio-film or saturated water — both solved here.
Faster, Cheaper Chemistry
Fresh, balanced water holds sanitizer efficiently. You'll use fewer chemicals all quarter.
Drain & Clean FAQs
How often should I drain and refill my hot tub in Utah?
Every 3–4 months for regular use. Utah's hard fill water — especially in Heber, Midway, Orem, and Provo — loads the water with calcium and total dissolved solids faster than most regions, which makes balanced chemistry progressively harder until the water is replaced.
What is bio-film and why does it matter?
Bio-film is a bacterial layer that coats the inside of your spa's plumbing lines — the part you can't see or scrub. It causes persistent cloudy water, chemical demand that never settles, and that musty smell some spas develop. We purge the lines with a professional bio-film remover before draining, so the contamination leaves with the old water instead of seeding the new fill.
How long does a drain, clean, and refill take?
The on-site service typically takes 3–4 hours including the line purge, drain, shell deep clean, and refill. We then manage rapid heat balancing and startup chemistry so the spa is swim-ready as quickly as your heater allows — usually the same evening.
Can you remove white scale buildup from my spa shell?
Yes. Hard-water mineral scale is the most common cosmetic and mechanical problem we see in Utah spas. Our deep clean includes a dedicated scale treatment that dissolves calcium deposits off the shell, jet faces, and waterline without damaging acrylic.
